In April 2018, Lexmark introduced the MX321/421/521/522/622 and MS321/421/521/621/622 laser printer & multifunction printer (MFP) all have OEM-rated print speeds of 38 - 50 pages per minute in black and duty cycles of 50,000 - 175,000 pages per month.
All models come with start cartridge range from 2000 page yield to 6000 page yield, which lets users print right out of the box. The MX321/421/521/522/622 and MS321/421/521/621/622 utilize a standard 6000 page yield and a 15,000 page high yield cartridge. All utilize a 60,000 page yield drum unit. The MS521/621/622 and MX521/522/622 printers add a 25,000 page yield ultra high yield cartridge to the supplies set. However, cartridge SKUs vary depending upon the market region in which they are sold.
Toner cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
